Class-A Tampa against Clearwater. Pettitte allowed one run on two hits, both doubles, while striking out two on 32-pitches, 26 for strikes. “It felt good,” said Pettitte of his outing, “I ended up going three not two innings.” As to getting all his pitches in Pettitte said, “I haven’t been able to get all my pitches in using the slide step yet, we’ll bump it up to 50-pitches next time.” According to Pettitte next time is, “I think I am pitching on Sunday (six days) and start a Class-A game.”
